Dear Parishioners:

As you may have heard, as of March 1, 2022, our churches and parish facilities were able to reopen at full capacity.   I look forward to welcoming you back to your spiritual home!

It is understandable that some may well feel hesitant at first.  Rest assured that we remain in step with public health.  Contact tracing is no longer required, nor is social distancing.  Ushers will also be present to assist with seating and to answer any questions you may have.  We have also been providing special seating for parishioners who desire social distancing and hand sanitizer available for those who wish to use it.  Starting Monday, March 21, 2022, indoor masking requirements will likewise end.  These changes to public health directives have been long awaited.  If you have not been to Mass during the pandemic, I then encourage you to return to and participate in your parish life, whenever you will feel comfortable, knowing that we are doing our best to make sure you feel safe and welcomed.

Cardinal Collins recently reminded us that the Eucharist remains the source and summit of our life in Christ, urging us, if we are able, to be personally present at the Sunday Eucharist, the central experience of the week and an obligation for us Catholics.

Our Mass schedule is as follows:

Saturday:      5:00 pm (ENG)

Sunday:         10:00 am (ITA)

                      12:00 pm (ENG)

Weekdays:   9:00 am (ITA/ENG).

In closing, we wish to thank you for your patience during this time of transition, and a special thank you to all our volunteers who worked so hard throughout these past two years.

Please rest assured of my prayers for you during this Lenten season, as I entrust myself to your prayers as well.

Carissimi parrocchiani:

Come avrete sicuramente già sentito, a cominciare dal 1° marzo 2022, le nostre chiese e strutture parrocchiali hanno ripreso ad operare alla loro capacità massima. Attendo con gioia il momento in cui potrò salutarvi ed accogliervi nuovamente in questa vostra casa spirituale.

È comprensibile che alcuni di voi in un primo tempo siate un po’ titubanti. Possiamo garantirvi che la vita parrocchiale avanza di pari passo con la sanità pubblica. Anche se l’obbligo del distanziamento sociale è stato rimosso, e non è più necessario scrivere il proprio nome all’entrata della chiesa, abbiamo reso disponibili alcuni banchi per chi volesse mantenere la distanza, come pure il detergente per le mani a base di alcol. Gli uscieri saranno a vostra disposizione per assistervi con i posti a sedere e per rispondere a qualsiasi quesito. Inoltre, a partire dal 21 marzo, 2022, l’uso della mascherina non sarà più richiesto. Tali cambiamenti in campo sanitario sono stati a lungo attesi. Se non siete più andati a Messa durante l’arco della pandemia, vi incoraggio quindi a ritornare e a partecipare alla vita della vostra parrocchia, sentendovi a vostro agio, e sapendo che stiamo facendo del nostro meglio per garantire la vostra sicurezza, al fine di farvi sentire davvero benvenuti.

Sua Eccellenza, il Cardinale Thomas Collins, ci ha di recente ricordato che l’Eucaristia rimane fonte e culmine della nostra vita in Cristo, esortandoci, se ne siamo in grado, ad assistere di persona all’Eucaristia domenicale, esperienza centrale della settimana e precetto religioso per la Chiesa Cattolica.

 Ecco sotto elencati i nostri orari delle Messe:

Sabato:          5:00 pm (ENG)

Domenica:    10:00 am (ITA)

                         12:00 pm (ENG)

Lun-Ven:       9:00 am (ITA/ENG).

Concludendo, vorrei ringraziarvi per la vostra pazienza durante questo tempo di transizione, e il mio ringraziamento più sincero a tutti i volontari che si sono prodigati con grande disponibilità in questi ultimi due anni.

Ogni giorno ho un ricordo particolare nelle mie preghiere per tutti voi, specialmente in questo tempo favorevole di Quaresima. Vi chiedo anch’io di ricordarmi nelle vostre preghiere. Che Dio benedica voi e le vostre famiglie!
