Minister of Communion

An 'Extra-ordinary Minister of Holy Communion' assists the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful.

Eucharistic Ministers must be 19 years of age or older, and should be a fully-initiated (Baptized, Confirmed, and have received Communion at least once in their life),practising Catholic in good standing. They should feel comfortable distributing Communion to their fellow parishioners.

A minister will usually serve at whatever Mass they normally attend over the weekend.
