Lector

A Lector is someone who proclaims the “Word of God” to their fellow parishioners from the ambo.

A lector should be a fully-initiated (Baptized, Confirmed, and have received Communion at least once in their life), practising Catholic in good standing.

The Lector should have a clear strong voice and the desire to proclaim the 'Word' which is a Grace and a Blessing from God.
