Welcome to Fr. Jomon George

Fr. Jomon George was born on 9th March 1978 in a small village by the name of Ramapuram, Kerala. His parents are George and Aleyamma. He has one brother and a sister. He joined the Religious Order of the Mission­aries of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary founded by St. Gaetano Errico when he was 15 years old. He was ordained to the priesthood on the 7th January 2006 by His Excellency Joseph Pallickaparambil bi­shop Emeritus of Palai Diocese, Kerala.

After the Ordination in 2006, he was sent to Rome to do the Licentiate in Sacred Theology of Matrimony and Family at the Pontifical Lateran University. In the year 2008, he was sent to Nigeria by the Superior General of the Congregation as a formator of the seminarians. In 2010 he was sent to the Indonesian Mission as Novice Master for the seminarians.  In 2012 he was asked by the Superior General of the congregation to go to Colombia (South America) to start a religious community there, In Colombia he served as the Delegate Superior of the religious order, and from 2017 to 2019 he was appointed as pastor of Our lady of Sorrows parish in Bogota, Colombia. From 2019 to 2020 he was in the United States to help the priests of their religious order in their pastoral ministry.

On 27th August 2020, he was officially appointed as the as­sociate pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, North York, Toronto. 

On 28th June 2022, he was appointed as the Associate Pastor of Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, Eto­bicoke.

Currently, he is appointed as the Pastor of St. Clare's Parish, Toronto.
